1920’s themed Murder at the Wright Mansion fundraiser

40 guests partake in an intimate and immersive experience within the Wright Mansion. Guests are encouraged to dress in 1920’s attire and enjoy an evening of mystery, hors d’oeuvres, and “Prohibition Punch” while working together to solve a murder.

Come and experience what Christmas was like in 1890. The event will begin with you being seated by the butler in the Main Parlor where you will enjoy music followed by a Welcome to Historic Lyme Village. After being seated for dinner you will be served a four course meal by your own personal maid. During dinner enjoy a Christmas story followed by a visit from St. Nicholas. Before leaving you are invited to tour the first and second floor of the John Wright Mansion.
Cost per person is $70.00

Step back in time to the 1860s for Historic Lyme Village’s Candelit Tours: “Changing Traditions”.
As the Civil War continued life in the North was changing – from food and fashion to schools, churches, social gatherings, and family traditions. Costumed interpreters will bring the home front to life and show how ordinary people adapted during a season of uncertainty and change.
Join us for an evening of candlelight, history, and holiday traditions at a pivotal moment in the nation’s history.
Afterwards enjoy complimentary hot cider, hot chocolate, and cookies in the Cafe’.
December 12 and January 2 – Tours depart every twenty minutes from 5:20 to 7:00 PM.
Adults $15 – Seniors $13 – Children $6 – 5 and under are free
