Pioneer Camp @ Historic Lyme Village

    PIONEER CAMP – Monday, June 24 – Friday, June 28 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

    This camp is open to all boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 12.

    The cost is $200 per student.

    We take up to 30 students.  Go to the Lyme Village website for an application form or call the Lyme Village office at 419-483-4949.

    This is a hands-on educational learning experience for the students.  In the mornings the students rotate through 3 different stations where they are working on projects.  The 3 stations are: woodworking or engineering; creating with cloth materials; and preparing/cooking station.  Lunch will be provided for the students.  The afternoons will be filled with a variety of topics each day with guest speakers.


    Civil War Days – Life on the Homefront @ Historic Lyme Village

    Experience Civil War Days at Historic Lyme Village and learn about domestic life on the homefront during the American Civil War (1861-1865).  Experience the past as the museum comes alive with reenactors, demonstrators, and craftspeople.  Living historians will be on hand demonstrating period dress, cooking, music, dancing, games, etiquette, and more.

    Michael Rhodes Photography will also be there to educate on 19th century photography and you can enjoy the opportunity to take home a tintype likeness of yourself (additional fee required).
