Youngsters ages 7 – 12 spend five days from 9 AM – 3 PM learning how pioneer children lived, worked, and played. Hands-on projects such as wood-working, sewing, cooking teaches the students new skills that were common to the 1800’s children. Chores such as bringing in wood, carrying water, taking care of the animals are also taught.
Friday of the week is special as all adults are invited for special activities with the participants. Cost is $150 for the week. Exceptions may be made for siblings and a few tuition assistance funds could be available.
